Dr. Greene is the Paul J. Schupf Professor of History and Humanities at Cazenovia College, where he has taught for the past thirty years. He is the author of thirteen books, and a regular panelist on WCNY's "Ivory Tower Half Hour." His lecture will offer an overview of the American Civil War, looking equally at military, political, and economic strategy, as well as offering a brief look at both home fronts during the war.
