Makeblock Robots

Makeblock Robots are robots that use a variety of sensors to interact. In the program, you will learn to assemble a robot from beams, brackets and wheels parts, and drive the robot by programming it with the Makeblock app. No registration necessary.

Introduction to Computer Aided Design (CAD) / Fusion 360

Tuesday, January 9, 2018
12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.

CAD software is used by engineers and designers to create graphic models of their ideas. Users can design parts and then virtually assemble them into a product. In this workshop, you will be taught how to design and assemble several simple parts using the CAD program Autodesk Fusion 360. Ethan Greene, a University at Buffalo Engineering major, will lead the workshop. You don't need to have any experience with CAD to participate, but you should be comfortable using laptop computers and basic software programs. Age 14 and up. Zombie Survival with Marcus

Find out and discuss what you can do in order to protect yourself in case of a zombie outbreak! This entertaining program will focus on the following topics: Basic Zombie Survival Techniques; Combat Weapons; Survival Vehicles; and Common Mistakes, Myths, and Generally Bad Ideas about Zombies.
