How Do I...Use OCPL's Databases?

Using the Databases

The Onondaga County Public Library System provides all its library card holders with free access to a core collection of online databases and reference resources.

Some of the databases listed here may not be available from a remote computer. Where individual suburban libraries have purchased additional databases beyond the core collection, remote access is available only to residents in the library’s service area (as defined by school district) and to patrons with library cards issued from that library. However, all patrons visiting the specific library location as indicated will have access to the resource.

If you have any questions regarding database access, please call your local library, the Central Library Reference Department at 435-1900, or send e-mail to reference@onlib.org.
