Our Summer Reading Clubs are back with another year of great prizes and our cool online

PEEC at the Library!

“Public Education for Energy Conservation” is a series of programs taught by the MOST and Baltimore Woods here at the Library. Learn about alternative energy, ways to conserve energy, electricity, and more! The free programs are on Wednesdays in July and Thursdays in August. Check our calendar for
dates and times. Funded by the Independent Energy Efficiency Program as a grant through the Village of Solvay Electric Department.

Facebook "Fun"damentals Computer Class 
Explore the social networking phenomenon that is Facebook.  Participants will be shown how to set up their page, add a picture, find friends and family, control their content and ensure the security of their information. 
 
Twitter & Tweet Class 
Twitter is the free social networking and micro-blogging service that enables users to send and receive messages known as tweets. Tweets are text-based posts of up to 140 characters displayed on the author's profile page and delivered to the author's subscribers who are known as followers.  Learn about following Twitterers and tweeting, as well as setting up and managing their accounts. 
 
Blogging 101 
There are millions of bloggers out there and even more blogs. Don’t be just another unread blogger. Find your niche, create your community, and blog to the masses. If you want to write an interesting blog that people want to read and keep coming back for more, get some ideas here!
