TeenWork - Autumn 2007

Leave Me Alone

I don't want to talk about it,
I really don't care
so just drop it,
it's just not fair.

You're still here?
but I told you to go
I have a headache
so just leave me alone.

I'm very aggravated,
as you can see,
you better let it go,
just drop it, please.

Now I'm furious,
furious I swear,
I can't stand it,
and I don't even care.

I have a headache,
it's an aching pain,
you wouldn't understand,
it's too hard to explain.

I'm very upset,
I just want to go home,
leave my sight,
just leave me alone.

             Jenna Sweeting, grade 9
