Time
The fiery-faceted waves come
crashing against the rock,
beckoning the future.
They erode the present, and shape
it into what is
meant
to be.
The menacing sea of fire encircles
all that was, and strangles it
with fate.
It destroys the slightest trace
of the past,
and forces a humbled beginning into an unfathomable depth.
Destiny is
a reward.
Destiny is
a rebirth.
Destiny is
renewing.
