TeenWork - Autumn 2007

Who Am I?

Who am I?  I don’t know yet.
I am still trying to figure that out.
but who I think I am is a young black
man growing up with one sister.

Who am I?  Looking at me I am a
15 year old teen who wish he was a child
again but I can’t do that so I just got to
stick with growing up to become a man.

Who am I is a black young older brother
trying to protect his lil’ sister.

Who am I?  You ask!
Just look at me you tell me cause I don’t
       know who I am.

             - Deandre’ Myers, grade 10
