I Can Remember
I can clearly
remember
the monster...
the
urge
the
want
the
need
I remember
the burn,
when the monster
stuck
its
big
ugly
head out.
The feeling
of a
crash
a
fall
the
sting.
I remember the
buzz
the
lift
the
high
points,
just to fall down even
harder.
I can remember the
running,
hiding,
faking,
that masked me
completely.
I can remember...
but I'd rather forget.
