ABOUT THE LIBRARY
Liverpool Public Library is an independent agency, tax-supported by the residents of the Liverpool Central School District, with its own elected Board of Trustees. The library is a cooperating member of the Onondaga County Public Library System. The library offers a variety of circulating collections including best sellers, magazines, downloadable ebooks and music, DVDs, CDs, Playaways, binocular "wildlife watching" kits, ereaders, and circulating family history Flipcam kits. Databases include Consumer Reports and many more. Program topics are rich and varied and include everything from concerts to summer reading clubs. The library, including the restrooms, is fully wheelchair accessible. Public computers and printers, as well as Wi-Fi, are available. Don't miss the interactive website, which includes fresh reading suggestions via e-mail and RSS, and new audio acquisitions via streaming "RadioLPL." Unique to Liverpool Library are a G scale ceiling train and a house leprechaun, a roof weather station, and a webcam on the park. The library is an official U.S. Passport Acceptance Center and also offers notary services by appointment.
