CenterState Corporation for Economic Opportunity is a non-profit regional growth organization
serving individuals, businesses, and communities across twelve counties in the heart of New
York State. It combines the resources of the Greater Syracuse Chamber of Commerce and the
Metropolitan Development Association. The Business Directory which lists two thousand companies
searchable by company name or business category, community information including demographics,
searchable movie database, and more.


CNY Angel

CNY Regional Planning and Development Board

Small Business Development Center at Onondaga Community College
The center is staffed with certified business advisors who provide educational programs targeted to small business needs as well as free and confidential counseling to both start-up and existing businesses. The SBDC is funded through the State University of New York, the SBA and is hosted by Onondaga Community College.


Syracuse Convention and Visitors Bureau

The Inc. 500 Fastest Growing Companies in America
Search the current year's directory by company name, keyword, state, sector (retail, service, manufacturing, distribution), or industry. A new search feature is the Interactive Demographics search which allows you to break out companies by several variables at once. Additionally there is a Fast Facts page with interesting statistics compiled from the database, Hall of Fame, which lists 5 time winners since the first list in 1982.


NAICS (North American Industry Classification System)
NAICS is the North American Industry Classification System—the new industry classification that replaces the SIC (Standard Industrial Classification) System. This site, provided by the U.S. Bureau of the Census, translates SIC codes into the new NAICS codes and vice versa. See also Standard Industrial Classification Search for the 1987 Standard Industrial Classification Code (developed by the Department of Labor to classify industries). Provides the SIC code description and list of typical products/services covered, as found in the hardcopy SIC Manual.
