Fire Safety
*** This Guide is No Longer Being Actively Maintained ***
by Susan Bond, Librarian
According to the Statistical Abstract of the United
States 2004-2005, there were over 1.6 million fires
reported in the U.S. in 2002, causing 3380 deaths and destroying
over $15 billion in property. Many of these fires were
preventable. This pathfinder attempts to give people the
information they need to reduce their risk of being victims
of fire.
