BANNED AND CHALLENGED BOOKLIST

Banned Books Week 2009

Banned Books Week Read-a-Thon

Wednesday, September 30, 2009
Central Library

Community leaders and library employees will read from their favorite banned or challenged book to celebrate the freedom to read in America. Each reader will choose a book from a list of banned or challenged books drawn from the American Library Association, as well as other sources.

The event is supported by Polaris Library Systems.  The author visit is made possible in part by a state grant secured by Senator John A. DeFrancisco and support from Solvay High School and North Syracuse High School.
