East is East
British film about a Pakistani family living in England during the 1970s. Is it a comedy? Sometimes. Is it a tragedy? Maybe. It's really the poignant story of how one immigrant family copes with the conflicting values of two cultures. Expect to laugh, and then to cry. [R]
