Library Services to People with Disabilities


The Central Library offers access to its catalog, the Internet, word processing, all print resources and more through special technologies designed for use by people with disabilities.

DRAGON Naturally Speaking voice recognition software

Kurzweil scanners & personal reading machine

Braille embosser

Aladdin closed-circuit TV magnifier

Assortment of lighted magnifiers

American Printing House 4-track cassette player/recorders

Digital talking book machines

Talking Typer keyboard instruction software

Pocket-Talker assistive listening device
