To view your library account information and manage your account online using the online catalog, you will need your library card number and PIN. If you do not have a PIN, you can obtain one at your local library, or you can call the Central Library at (315) 435-1904.
1. Connect
to the catalog. Click the My Account tab.
2. Enter your User ID (the number on your library
card) and PIN. Click the Login button.
3. The Account Overview screen has four sections:
Items Out, Hold Requests, Blocks, and Profile.
For more information about any of these topics,
click on the link.
The Items Out page displays a list of all the items you currently have checked out, including any lost or overdue items. From this page, you can renew your items or sort the list by title, date checked out, or due date. To sort the list, click on the appropriate column heading.
The Hold Requests screen shows the hold requests you have placed. There are separate lists for requests that are waiting to be picked up and for requests that are not yet available. You can click on the column headings to sort the lists. You can also cancel a hold, or change the status of a hold to suspended or active. Suspending a request temporarily defers it until you choose to make it active again.
Blocks are special messages on your card. If you have overdue books or unpaid fines, or your address needs to be updated, those messages will be listed here. Canceled holds also create blocks on your card. Please contact your local library if you have questions about blocks.
Your Profile contains your name, mailing address, phone number, and library where you received your card. You can update your email address or change your PIN at this screen. To update the other information listed here, please contact your local library.
