The NPCA is a national network of Returned Peace Corps Volunteers (RPCV), former staff and friends of the Peace Corps. It is independent of the Peace Corps, but its purpose is to fulfill the 3rd goal of the Peace Corps: to bring the world to the U.S. through the experiences and knowledge of the returned Volunteers.
It may be helpful to read an explanation and view the flowchart detailing the relationship between the Peace Corps and the National Peace Corps Association.
