For this project, the residents of Hillbrook Detention Center combined style with sustainability to create a series of hats. Each hat is made with recycled cardboard from the facility and individually crafted by students. Hot glue is then used to create realistic looking logos and patches. For this project, residents analyzed how hats are made, studied color theory to produce custom hues, researched materials and had a ton of fun! |
