PETIT: Veteran Move-In Drive

Petit Library is teaming up with Housing Visions to collect donations for their Veteran housing located at VanKeuren Square on E Genesee St. Housing Vision's Veteran housing program is dedicated to those who are experiencing or are at-risk of experiencing homelessness. Many Veterans come to Housing Visions with nothing more than the clothes on their backs and your donations of new items  will go towards move-in packages for tenants in need. Please see below for a full list of accepted donation items.


Cleaning: duster, mop, plunger, bleach, vinegar, baking soda, spray bottle, microfiber cloths, buckets, dish soap, disinfectant wipes

Household:  shower curtain/liner, dish towel/cloth, sponges, pot holders, lightbulbs, AA/AAA batteries, phone charger, Tupperware, silverware (sets of 4 or 8), dishware (sets of 4 or 8), utensils

Toiletries: toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, toilet paper, menstrual hygiene products, hairbrush, hair comb

Bedding: blankets, sheets (full size), pillows

Misc.: gift cards, coffee, snacks, home décor, water bottle
