Bluebird Music Together
Tuesday, July 7
10:00 AM

Interested in how young children learn music? Looking for new songs to sing in the bathtub and at the diaper table? Come sing, play, dance, and make music with your child and with new friends!

Music Together® is a research-based, developmentally appropriate music class for children ages 0 – 5 with a parent or caregiver. Each child participates at his or her own developmental level in singing, moving, chanting, listening, observing, or exploring musical instruments. We welcome the whole family to join in this music experience! Learn how to nurture the musical growth of your child, regardless of your own musical ability.
** Supported by funds from the M&T Charitable Foundation. **

The Mighty Duke of York
(If you have front steps or a step stool, you can step up to the top when the men go up the hill, and then back down. And if there are 3 steps, you can be on the middle one when you’re neither up nor down. If your child is not walking yet, you can bounce up and down, or clap to the rhythm.)

The Mighty Duke of York
He had ten thousand men
He led them up the hill
And led them down again.
And when they’re up
They're up
And when they’re down
They're down
But when they’re only halfway up
They're neither up nor down.

This is the Way the Ladies Ride
(Child sits on lap and grownup bounces knees fast, slow, or side-to-side as appropriate)
