            <head>Biographical History</head>
            <p>This collection of photographs and information cards on over 60 Syracuse area
                monuments and tablets was given to the Syracuse Public Library by an unknown donor.
                There is no date on the records. The black and white photographs included are
                estimated to have been taken in the mid 20th century. Many of the monuments and tablets
                included in this collection are no longer standing, and their current location is
                unknown.</p>

            <head>Scope and Contents of the Collection</head>
            <p>This collection consists of information cards and black and white photographs of over
                60 Syracuse area monuments and tablets. The information cards include research that
                the donor conducted on each monument or tablet, including information on when
                and by whom the monuments were created, and where the monuments were located. Some of
                the files include only photographs, others only information cards, but the majority
                of the files have both. </p>
