Most of our full-time positions are subject to the civil service examination process that is administered by the Onondaga County Personnel Department. OCPL offers competitive salary and fringe benefits to our full-time employees. You may sign up for email notification of exam announcements at the Onondaga County Personnel Department's website. for the part-time positions, we accept applications and/or resumes on an ongoing basis and keep them for 6 months for any upcoming vacancies.

Librarian 1 examination (Training and Experience Questionnaires) is part of the continuous recruitment program. Applications will be accepted at least twice a year starting in 2013, probably in January and June.  For specifics, please look for the examination announcement at http://www.ongov.net/employment/jobs or contact Onondaga County Personnel Department at 435-3537.

Part-Time Positions (Continuous Recruitment)

We accept applications and/or resumes on an ongoing basis and keep them for six (6) months for any upcoming vacancies. These positions are not subject to the competitive civil service process. Due to the volume of resumes we receive, we would not be able to answer your inquiry on the status of your application.
