ABOUT THE LIBRARY
Betts Branch Library is located in the Valley area of Syracuse. Known for its wide array of print reading materials, including many large print titles, the library also offers audio books, DVDs, and an impressive collection of magazines for all ages.
Public computers, Wi-Fi, printing, scanning and faxing are all available at Betts. One-on-one computer training can be arranged and is available by appointment. Resources are available to help with online job applications, creating resumes and preparing for school.
Programs for all ages and interests are offered at Betts. Concerts, knitting groups, yoga, meditation, book discussion groups, art exhibits and special activities for children and teens are some of the programs offered on a regular basis at the library. Outreach programs to area schools and community groups are provided by Betts Branch librarians.
During the warmer months, seating is available on Betts’ outside patio.
A spacious and accessible meeting room is available for community use, by appointment.
