ABOUT THE LIBRARY

Betts Branch is located in the Valley area of Syracuse. It provides material - in print, video, and audio formats - for information and recreation. In addition to fiction and nonfiction for adults, teenagers and children, Betts features Native American, local history, and quilting materials.

Outreach programs to schools, adult residences and community groups are provided by Betts Branch librarians. Services for the Homebound operates out of Betts.

Story times are held for children Thursday mornings. The Betts meeting room is available for use by community groups.

Betts is most noted for its annual "Cabin Fever Quilt Show." Every February, an enticing variety of quilts is displayed throughout the library.
