Discussion Forum @ Soule: The United States & Women's Equal Rights

John R. Mathiason, Adjunct Professor at the Brooks School of Public Affairs, Cornell University, and former deputy director of the U.N. Division for the Advancement of Women, will give a presentation on the history of the United States of America government hindering women's rights. He will talk about the impact of their non-action on the national and international stage and the struggle to pass the Equal Rights Amendment in Congress, followed by an open discussion with attendees. For adults ages 18 and up.
