Founded in 1913 with a donation of 215 books, the Marcellus Free Library currently has a collection of approximately 30,000 items, including a unique collection of choral music. The Library circulates over 123,000 items annually. On May 5, 2008 the Marcellus Free Library opened its new location in the Village of Marcellus at 32 Maple Street in the Crown Mill Development near the corner of Orange and Maple Streets. Our eco-friendly library has a geothermal heating and air-conditioning system, as well as a 16,200 watt solar (photovoltaic) array located on the south-facing second-story roof of the library. Special Hours: When Marcellus Central Schools are closed due to inclement weather the library will open at 12 noon. Staff:
