Several Onondaga County Public Libraries offer access to the catalog, the Internet, word processing, print resources and more through special technologies designed for use by people with disabilities.

Technologies include:

  • JAWS computer screen reading software
  • DRAGON Naturally Speaking voice recognition software
  • Braille embosser
  • Topax XL HD video magnifier
  • Assortment of lighted magnifiers
  • Digital talking book machines
  • Talking Typer keyboard instruction software
