Stop down to Tully and decorate rocks using acrylic paint. All materials will be supplied by the library staff. The program is for kids in grades 3 through 5.

Pokémon Safari Zone Night @

The rare library open on Monday. It’s their monthly night for Pokémon lovers. Bring your cards. Different Pokémon themed games and crafts as well! Festivities start at 6pm.

Event is for teens in grades 6-12. Learn about and try some French foods. Program is free.

Winter Olympics, Maxwell Edition @
Maxwell Memorial Library
Ceremonies are from 1-3pm.

Recommended for ages 5 to 14, but all children and teens are welcome. We will have several activities set up for children and teens to enjoy. Activities will include a marshmallow stacking, curling, a snowball throw using cotton balls, and a scavenger hunt. Plus, all children and teens who participate will receive a medal for all their hard work.

Teen Winter Olympics Minute to Win It!

A Wicked: For Good party @

In the children’s library there will be some wicked snacks and activities early on. Then kids and families can watch the 2025 sequel. The party goes from 2-6pm. The biggest question: What will Brian Rowlands dress as for this event? The Wizard? Flying Monkey? Glinda? You have to be there to find out!

TEEN Nintendo Switch Party @

Color of the Year @

Enjoy a relaxing craft as we make a masterpiece of art using supplies that are the 2026 Pantone Color of the Year (cloud dancer). This is an all-day event, so drop in anytime on Thursday. Finished pieces will be exhibited in March at the NOPL Brewerton Community Art Show. For anyone ages 4 through 17.

Rubber Duck Winter Games @

Families of all ages are invited Duck Winter Games and the library will provide rubber duck athletes to participate in events such as skating, skiing, and more. Registration required.

Grow Your Own Mushrooms @
Onondaga Free Library

Learn how to grow edible oyster mushrooms on a roll of toilet paper as this course teaches basic mushroom biology and growing techniques. Participants will leave with a completed mushroom growing kit, instructions for care, and even a few recipes. Adult must accompany children under 8 yrs old. Registration is required. Program goes from 2-3:30pm.

Winter STEAM for Kids @

Jeff is back and this time he is creating winter animal balloon during this fun program. There will also be a few surprises and a balloon snowball battle! Everyone will get to keep all of the balloons made in class. Program starts at 2pm in the Community Room on the first floor.

CNY Robotics @

Play with, drive, program, or even build robots with the help of CNY Robotics. Various robots will be on hand for kids 4 to 10, but any age is welcome! Program goes from 2-3pm.

Syracuse Stage Theatre program @

A troop from Syracuse Stage comes to Central Library’s Community Room with their Theatre for the Very Young production of Tiny Martians, Big Emotions. Children will discover how colors and textures shape our emotions in an interactive performance. Program is for children ages 1 to 5. The curtain drops at 10am. Space is limited, so please register.
