December & January
Minoa Library
(Early Dec. - late Dec/early Jan.)
- Minoa is collecting pet supplies!
- Collecting pet supply items on behalf of Assemblyman Al Stirpe's office, starting early December and running until late Dec-early Jan.
January & February
Soule Branch Library
(January - end of February)
- Soule is collecting T-shirts and socks!
- Collecting new or clean and gently-used adult-sized T-shirts and socks.
- Donations will go to Nottingham High School.
All Winter-Long
Betts Branch Library
(Now - throughout winter)
- Betts has a mitten tree!
- Collecting gloves, mittens, hats, scarves, blankets, and other warm items.
- They will be collecting items throughout winter.
Year-round collections
Community Library of DeWitt & Jamesville
- CLD&J is collecting hygiene items and toiletries!
- The library accepts individually packaged hygiene items to help fellow library users in need.
- Toothbrushes, nail clippers, tissues, and other hygiene products will go towards their long-term project of outfitting the library’s bathrooms with “hygiene pockets.”
East Syracuse Free Library
- East Syracuse is collecting non-perishable food and other grocery items!
- The East Syracuse Free Library is a drop-off sight for non-perishable food items and other grocery items such as cleaning products, soaps, shampoo and paper products.
- All items will be donated to the library's local food pantries.
Elbridge Free Library
- Elbridge Free has a year-round Little Free Pantry!
- The pantry is stocked with easy-access snack foods geared towards kids
- Ideal donations: Items that kids could open and/or heat in the microwave without help
- The greatest need for donations is while kids are on break from school!
Manlius Library
- Manlius is collecting diapers and non-perishable food!
- Manlius Library is collecting diapers for the CNY Diaper Bank.
- The library is also collecting non-perishable food for the F-M Food Pantry.
Maxwell Memorial Library
- Maxwell is a drop-off location for donations of children’s bedding to Sleep in Heavenly Peace!
- Collecting new twin-size sheets, comforters. bed-in-a-bag. throw blankets, standard pillows, pillowcases, and twin mattress protectors
- Items must be brand new and in their store packaging
- The donation bin is inside the library—just look for the little bed near the front door!
Maxwell Memorial Library
- Maxwell is a drop-off location for donations to help keep the shelves at the Food Pantry at St. Joseph’s Church in Camillus stocked!

Mundy Branch Library
- Mundy is collecting warm clothes!
- Hats and mittens/gloves
- For kids through adult
- Accepting year-round, especially in winter
