Pick up an activity packet anytime during winter recess. Earn a raffle ticket for each activity you complete throughout the week.  The winner will be announced on Saturday, February 22 at 4:30 p.m.  For ages 5-18.

Snowman Stress Balls

Squeeze all your winter worries away with you own stress ball. We will decorate balloons with permanent markers and filling them with beans, rice, or flour.  For ages 5-18.

Indoor Ice Skating

Join us for a day of winter fun!  Try out our ice skating rink or have a snowball fight inside the library. We will also be making giant snowflakes from Popsicle sticks.  For ages 5-18.

Taste Test: Cookies

Test your taste buds and see if you can match 7 different chocolate chip cookies with the correct brand. Earn a point for each correct guess and those with the most points at the end can pick a prize from our treasure chest. For ages 5-18.

D.I.Y. Mardi Gras Masks

Get ready for Mardi Gras by creating your own mask from glitter, feathers, jewels and more. Mardi Gras is traditionally celebrated on “Fat Tuesday,” however, it has evolved into a week-long festival including parades with elaborate costumes and masks.  For ages 12-18.

Stop by Soule, where we’ll have new activities available each day to capture your child’s interest.

  • The Mr. Learnie Lego set spurs building imagination while also teaching about the importance of cleaning up and putting things in their proper places.
  • Cubelets offer an infinite number of tactile configurations that introduce your child to robotics, while Jack, our programmable robot mouse, helps kids to build coding skills in order to help Jack reach his cheese. Each set offers a fun and fascinating way to introduce big ideas through play.
  • Our Play and Learn area offers multiple experiences to foster your child’s imagination and creativity.
